Back From The Grave!

I have gotten off to a poor start with this whole blogging business. In my defense, I have been a busy girl. Last week completed my first semester as a student at University of Central Missouri. I love UCM thus far. I am ready to dig in to the real curriculum of my nursing degree. My next round of classes begin January 13th, I believe. It's going to be a challenge but I am ready for a challenge.

Only ten days until Christmas and I have so much to get done before then. For starters, I need to clean my house. It's probably in violation of several health/fire codes in its current state of bedlam. I need to finish my shopping, I really only have Hank checked off my list at this time, and I am still pondering with the idea of returning what I have for him now. I bought him a new tricycle from Westlake Hardware and might exchange it for a trike from another store. Hank Boy is pretty rough on tricycles so I am searching for the sturdiest one around. They just don't make toys like they did when I was a kid, it's next to impossible to find a trike with all metal parts. Plastic toys just don't hold up around the Richards clan.

We don't have a single Christmas decoration up but I this point I am wondering if its worth the effort of putting the tree up. My dad is having an operation on his lumbar vertebrae on Christmas Eve and so I don't think we'll even be around to celebrate with the family. This surgery is causing me a great deal of anxiety because I am always considering the worst possible outcomes. For instance, being paralyzed, being worse off, having a long and difficult recovery,
etcetera. I will just have to pray for him and help him recover quickly.

In my spare time I have mostly been getting wasted/forever discussing life issues with Mama Fab. Fun, tears and insane laughing ensues. Oh, and I can't seem to shake this boy named William.
